William "Will" Bow has over 12 years of experience in the environmental field throughout the State of Hawai‘i. His expertise spans permitting, inspections, monitoring, and compliance reporting for a broad range of Federal, State, and County projects. Will has successfully managed and led multi-year initiatives focused on the monitoring, sampling, and analysis of water, soil, and air, ensuring compliance with construction and development regulations. He is the owner and founder of Kahewai Environmental LLC. In addition, Will is a past president of HAEP and currently serves as the Hawai‘i Chapter Representative to the National Association of Environmental Professionals' (NAEP) Board of Directors.

Benjamin Bonahoom serves as the President of the Hawaii Association of Environmental Professionals, leading initiatives to advance environmental awareness and professional development in the field. In his professional capacity, he serves as a Senior Sustainability Coordinator at Haley & Aldrich, where he specializes in ESG strategy, emissions calculations, and sustainability roadmaps. Beyond sustainability and ESG, Benjamin has extensive experience in environmental compliance, project management, and fieldwork across diverse industries. He has led cross-functional teams ensuring regulatory compliance, managed stormwater, and spill prevention programs, conducted wetland delineations, and overseen oil and gas projects. His background also includes remedial fieldwork, real estate environmental assessments, regulatory engagement, and construction oversight for infrastructure, renewable energy, and remediation projects. Through his leadership roles and diverse experience, Benjamin continues to drive meaningful progress in environmental sustainability, compliance, and professional collaboration.

Eleanor Yuan is an environmental consultant based out of Honolulu, HI. She currently serves as the President-Elect of the Hawaii Association of Environmental Professionals, and has served on the Board of Directors for the past three years. Eleanor's experience includes compliance, environmental assessments, field work, data management, and project management. She holds bachelor’s degrees in environmental science and economics, and has obtained certifications for HAZWOPER, Asbestos Inspections, and Lead Based Paint Inspections. Aloha, I’m an Administration Environmental Scientist at Hawaiian Electric Co. In May 2021 I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, a minor in Data Science and Environmental Studies at Chaminade University of Honolulu. I hold experiences managing the company’s environmental compliance task management database, supporting GHG emission analyses, calculating and gathering data for SASB and EEI metrics (Air, Water, Haz Waste), as well as supporting the company’s Environmental Compliance Training Program. I have past experiences in logistics coordination (deploying scientists into the field for remote field work), field technician work (gathering water samples), analyzing and presenting data, mentoring Highschool students in STEM and participating in STEM outreach.

Derek Sheldon is an environmental scientist and consultant with extensive experience in compliance, risk analysis, and sustainable agriculture. Currently an Assistant Project Manager at Haley & Aldrich, Inc., he specializes in NPDES compliance and contaminated site management. Previously, he worked as an Environmental Consultant conducting air, soil, and groundwater assessments throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Derek has a background in agriculture and operations management, having served as Farm Manager at Ko Hana Distillers, where he oversaw 300 acres of sugarcane production. Earlier in his career, he held roles in change management and education, including working at IBM as a Change Management Consultant and with CappSci - Miami Science Barge developing environmental education programs.
He holds a Master’s in Coastal Zone Management and a Bachelor’s in Finance & Ecosystem Science from the University of Miami. Derek has received multiple honors, including the Royal Caribbean Ocean Fund Grant and the Fish Florida Grant for developing experiential education curriculum centered around recreational fishing. Derek holds current certifications for Hazwoper40, asbestos inspection, and rescue diving.

Li An grew up on Oahu and graduated from Western Washington University in 19’ and 23’ with a BS/MS in biology. She currently works as an environmental scientist at Pacific Commercial Services, Inc., where she specializes in EA, project management, and compliance. In her downtime, Li An is usually running, bouldering, or spending time with friends.
