"Shed Light, Not Heat"

​Jan Reichelderfer was a geologist/environmental planner with WSP.  She worked on EAs, EISs, permitting, and environmental compliance.  She is now happily retired and organizes HAEP’s participation in various environmental volunteer events.  

​Marvin Heskett was raised with sustainability at the heart of family life. He is currently a practicing environmental consultant and an environmental chemist. Marvin received a B.S. in biochemistry from California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo and has worked as a mass spec. chemist, quality assurance officer, and laboratory director prior to taking on the role of a consultant. As a consultant he has worked with the State of Hawaii Department of Health in innovating novel approaches to solving environmental problems throughout the Pacific Region. Marvin has worked with the state of Hawaii Clean Water Branch to secure funding for their BEACH monitoring program and has been a stormwater practitioner for over 10 years.

With a decade of experience in the retail industry, Aris brings a deep understanding of operational impact and a strong commitment to sustainability and process optimization. Her career has equipped her with a unique skill set of creativity, analytics, adaptability, and leadership. She has leveraged her expertise in project management, business optimization, and design thinking to drive meaningful transformation within multiple organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute and a Master of Business Administration degree from Baruch College in New York City, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP-PMI).

Ms. Cordero has been in the environmental industry for over 20 years. She began her career in industrial hygiene, progressed into environmental investigations, remediation/restoration, environmental compliance, environmental planning/permitting, and has conducted environmental due diligence for various business needs. She has also dealt with environmental baselines, planning, permitting, and cleanup, associated with land use lease, purchase, and development.

Dennis Peters is a Senior Environmental Scientist and Registered Environmental Manager specializing in CERCLA/RCRA site assessment & remediation and multi-media environmental compliance. He has spent 27 of his 35 years as an environmental professional in Hawaii, the past four with Haley & Aldrich.  He currently serves as an at-large Director and Vice-President for the National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP).
